Well, today we completed (and had notarized) the LAST of our required documents. It seems like this has taken forever and happened so quickly all at the same time. We are SO thankful for the sweet notary at our bank that has been incredibly patient with us and all of these documents. No easy job for her, FOR sure.
Now, all 44 (yep, FORTY-FOUR) of these documents have to be apostilled; so I plan on taking a road trip to Raleigh on Monday morning to drop the documents off, stay overnight and then pick them up the next morning. Then, we'll be FedExing these documents over to the country and the waiting game begins. Our documents will have to be translated into their language and approved and submitted by the local officials. After that, we'll receive our travel date.
Please pray:
- That I'll have safe travel to Raleigh and I won't get lost. :)
- That all apostilles are done correctly the FIRST time--no mistakes.
- That all FedEx shipping happens quickly and efficiently and our dossier is delivered safely.
- That God's favor will be upon our paperwork so that things will move at the speed He wants them to move.

Congrats! What a HUGE step towards bring your kiddos home. I can't believe how quickly you did your paperwork. Can't wait for you to get everything submitted!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait either! I'm heading tomorrow to get everything apostilled and then it's headed that way! :)
